Data Analysis and Survey Design
Many projects require the collection of data in order to identify, analyze, and effectively address problems. The design and use of surveys can dramatically impact the results and therefore, the decisions based on such studies. The type of survey must match the type of information to be retrieved. As an example, when attempting to solicit information that is confidential or highly sensitive, a questionnaire or written survey is not likely to yield reliable data. In such a circumstance, face to face interviews are far more effective. Question type and style can also impact the results. Written questions should be short, straightforward and have only one answer. Ambiguous questions will lead to ambiguous results. PMGLC has significant expertise in survey design and analysis. We have conducted nationwide surveys in a variety of formats including both face to face data collection and questionnaire-based data collection. We have developed expertise in the rapid and reliable acquisition of the resultant data and analysis. Data analysis expertise includes a diversity of analytic methodologies.
As a support to our survey design and data analysis expertise, PMGLC develops customized surveys that can be delivered in a variety of forms to meet our clients needs. Our surveys can be delivered via scannable paper pages, email, and the internet. Our survey projects include organizational climate, 360 evaluation, training effectiveness and impact, test development, performance evaluation, customer feedback, quality evaluation and job analysis.
